Protecting your personal data is of particular importance to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). Any consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

3. Provision of the Website & Server Log Files
When you access our website, technical data („server log files”) is automatically processed. This includes in particular:
- IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file accessed
- Volume of data transferred and HTTP status code
- Browser and operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted no later than 30 days, unless there are indications of misuse or a security-related incident.

If you contact us by email, telephone or via a contact form, your data (name, email address, content of your message and any other information you provide) will be stored in order to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / contract performance) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry).
We will not pass on this data without your consent. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its collection, at the latest after the expiry of statutory retention periods (generally 7 years under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
7. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address and any other information you provide to send you regular information about Golf Club Brand and our offers. Subscription takes place via the double opt-in procedure: after subscribing you will receive a confirmation email which you must use to confirm the subscription.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by sending a message to info@gcbrand.at. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
8. Embedded External Content
Weather Data (Open-Meteo)
We display current weather data for Brand/Vorarlberg on our website. The data is retrieved via the open Open-Meteo API (provider: Open-Meteo, Switzerland). When the data is retrieved, your IP address is transmitted to Open-Meteo; no cookies are set and there is no association with your person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing up-to-date playing information (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). For more information see https://open-meteo.com/en/terms.
Webcams (V6 Moving Pictures)
Our website embeds a webcam / panorama view of the Brandnertal provided by V6 Moving Pictures GmbH. When you access the relevant page, a connection is established to the provider’s servers; data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request and browser information may be transmitted. The integration only takes place after your consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
Google Maps
Where Google Maps is embedded on individual pages, personal data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) when the map is loaded and may be transferred to the USA (Google LLC). For data transfers to the USA, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. 9. Web Hosting
Our website is hosted by an external service provider called Hostinger. The hoster processes the data generated in connection with the operation of the website (server log files, content data, contact data, metadata and communication data) on our behalf. We use the hoster for the contractual provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hoster.
10. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from „http://” to „https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
11. Status and Changes
This privacy policy is dated April 2026. We reserve the right to amend it in the event of changes to actual data processing or to the legal situation. The current version is always available on this page.
